To accommodate the surging interest, daftarkhwan launched 2 new sites, daftarkhwan Vantage in Rawalpindi and the shift of the grander daftarkhwan | ONE in Lahore. While Vantage is situated in the heart of the hills, ONE opened its chic doors to Phase 5, Lahore, elevating your perspective and creating unparalleled convenience for all those ambitious individuals looking for a productive space. With an impressive 15,000 square footage of cutting edge designs and vibrant work stations, daftarkhwan | One instills fervor into the rhythm of your everyday, making for an exhilarating workplace.
In addition to this already momentous feat, daftarkhwan also extended 3 of its sites, Vantage, North and Vogue. Sprawled across five floors, Vogue, our flagship site, is an expanse of vivacious transparency. With numerous inter levels and a brand new spacious lounge, ambitious leading startups and the daftarkhwan team work in tandem, creating a diverse community of professionals. Scaling up to 85,000+ square feet, daftarkhwan has had the pleasure of adding 1000+ unique individuals to its supercommunity with companies such as Uber, Tintash and CarFirst joining the fold!
It was a big year for the Pakistani startup ecosystem, which managed to as a whole, raise an investment of $325 million. Hosting both Pakistani startups such as Jugnu, Retalio and Walee as well as an international clientele, Trella, Opay and Unifonic, the daftarkhwan community managed to raise an astounding $570 million in investment. To ensure the continuation of this mutual growth, daftarkhwan has arranged 3 VC Exchange programs in partnership with Amazon Web Services just this year, facilitating over 150 meetings where startups have the priceless opportunity to raise funds by pitching their startups to angel investors and venture capitalists. This year we hosted 28+ investors such as Shorooq Partners, SOSV, Zayn Capital, Wavemaker, Indus Valley Capital, GGV Capital and Walled City Co.while engaging over 500 startups such as Dukaan, Savvy Technologies, Bookme, Rider and FindMyAdventure. An enriching experience for startups and investors alike, Oladoc described the VC Exchange as a “Great way to meet investors in a speed dating format” while Atif Awan, representing Indus Valley Capital deeply appreciated the, “Excellent on-time communication.”
